After launching the 2nd book of the popular young adult series, the Janus Silang series, on the 36th Manila International Book Fair (MIBF), the manga adaptation of the 1st book is currently on its way to Komikon 2015.
Mentions of this project, which was be done by Anino Comics, was seen a lot of times from different events. The first was on the 2015 catalog of Anino Comics, when the group was launched last Winter Komikon 2014. Later on, another one would be seen on the Adarna House 2015-2016 Product & Service Catalogue that was given away during MIBF 2015. The last one, that I had seen so far, was during the October Komiket 2015 wherein a 6 page preview of the manga adaptation were being handed out for free.
The manga adaptation by Anino Comics of this Adarna House book by Edgar Calabia Samar would initially be available during Komikon 2015 on November 14-15 at the Unilab Bayanihan Center, Pasig City. It was adopted by Carljoe Javier and the illustrations was made by Natasha Ringor.
