Events: Winners of the 2014 Filipino Readers' Choice Awards

Like last year, I wasn't able to attend the awarding ceremony again. This time it was conducted last November 14, 2014 during the 5th Philippine International Literary Festival and Book Industry Summit at Bayanihan Center, Pasig City.

Events: Votation for the 2014 Filipino Readers' Choice Awards

Sorry it took me some time before I got to post any updates for the 2014 Filipino Readers' Choice Awards.

Well without any more delay the voting phase has already began. You can still vote until September 10, 2014. Just remember that 1 vote per category and 1 ballot per e-mail address will be considered as a valid vote. Multiple votes using 1 e-mail address will not be counted.

Events: Nomination for the 2014 Filipino Readers' Choice Awards

Another nomination is set. This time it's for the Filipino Readers' Choice Awards (FRCA) 2014. The nomination period will be on August 4 - 18, 2014. Only books written by Filipino authors are allowed. It must also be published during January - December 2013.

From last year's 8 categories, this year now holds 13 categories from which readers can nominate their favorite books.

The categories are:

• Fiction in Filipino (or Taglish)
• Romance in English
• Romance in Filipino (or Taglish)
• Fiction Anthology
• Young Adult Fiction
• Children's Picture Book
• Comics & Graphic Novels
• Poetry
• Inspirational / Religious

• Nonfiction
